The strategic water project (Zei Mazn)meeting was held
today (September 17, 2025) under the supervision of Mr.(Ari Ahmed),General director of Water and Sewerage in the Kurdistan Region, and mayor of Bardarash district Mr.(Barwa Farouq Saeed), and in the presence of director of water outskirts duhok governorate, Mr.(Khalat Fattah), along with the committee supervising the project and the implementing company.
The aforementioned project was discussed, from which a large number of subscribers within the district, sub-district, and villages will benefit.
This project is defined as the largest project within the borders of duhok governorate,and the amount required to implement this project is (428) billion dinars.
In the end, they expressed their sincere thanks to the President of the Kurdistan Regional Government Mr.(Masrour Barzani) and the governor of dohuk(Dr. Ali Tatar)agreed to the aforementioned project, which will solve the problem of water scarcity within the boundaries of Bardarash district for a long period.
